Do you think Lo hice por punto means I did it to make a point or I did it on purpose?

Esa no la conozco. Estaré pendiente para aprender qué significa. - Gekkosan, Jan 28, 2011
Please provide context for that phrase. I have never heard it before. - mediterrunio, Jan 28, 2011
It means to do it on purpose (even as retaliation). We can also say "Lo hice a drede o la poste" - gone, Jan 28, 2011

'I did it on purpose'.

For this I would say "Lo hice a propósito." I've never heard "a punto" used this way but that is not to say that "lo hice a punto" is flat-out wrong.

My guess would be to make a point.
