Es toda una pasada

Es toda una pasada

I assume this means, it's all great, or if someone says "Es un placer conocerte" and the other says "Es toda una pasada" it means like, great, it's all great. Una pasada = great, great thing (whatever is going on) una mala pasada = really bad, not good. But you can't say "Es todo una mala pasada" can you?? Gracias.

The sentence in that context doesn't make any sense but te jugaron una mala pasada means something like "They played dirty with you" referring to people that tricked you.

So "Es toda una pasada " doesn't make sense, or is the context I listed that doesn't make sense? Because there are a million hits for it, and I took it straight from a (crappy) movie.

Well, in the context you gave I can affirm that doesn't make any sense at leat in México. On the other hand I think that maybe I've heard it before as a slang but just maybe and I still without knowing it. - Dakie, Jan 28, 2011
Maybe in other state or country. - Dakie, Jan 28, 2011
But I seriously doubt it,. - Dakie, Jan 28, 2011
p.I don't know what about the Google thing, maybe they just made it up in the movie, - Dakie, Jan 28, 2011
