Why is the "se" present in "se estaba muy bien"?
In a text, a person is walking in a park and he desrcibes the setting by saying "se estaba muy bien". I would like to know why he uses the "se" before "estaba" in this instance.

Because whoever said that didn't want to specify who - it is talking in general. That "se" basically removes the subject.
