Any ideas how we could translate "one stop shop" into Spanish?

A "one stop shop" is one place where many requirements can be met.

For example, in a public sense, a local authority (local council) might have a "one stop shop" concerning all claims and queries about benefits, rather than having several officer in different locations providing slightly different services.

Or, it may be a private service "one stop shop", offering motoring and car repair services 'under one roof'.

.

Here is a good explanation of the meaning and orgin of the term: link text

.

I've struggled with this one in Spanish for a good while now and have yet to come up with a satisfactory translation. Here are my attempts:

.

  • Un servicio multidisciplinario
  • Un lugar de varios/diversos servicios
  • Un sitio que brinda servicios variados
  • Una oficina multiservicio
  • Un lugar de servicios integrados
  • And I found this on a forum: Ventanilla Única

As always, any comments are greatly appreciated!

Gracias smile

I would use a combination of what you have already come up with and say Un sitio multidisciplinario

Also - have you ever heard the phrase "ventanilla única"? - amy_moreno, Jan 27, 2011
Outside of "Little window," "Ventanilla" is used in banking as an exchange rate offered to the public as opposed to corporate. I´ve never seen it with "Única" - 005faa61, Jan 31, 2011

I just made this up (I don't believe it exists anywhere), but it is mercifully short:

Tienda de los Diversos
