An experienced eye.
When I saw the question "an inexperienced eye" I could not resist.
"A ojo de buen cubero" is an idiom that should translate to " an experienced eye, or (observer)". In other words a experienced estimate of something.
Are there others that fall into this category of an experienced eye?

Wow.. I looked it up and learned something new. Mil gracias, Paco!
I think that it means: at first glance, without the use of instrument, or infected by nobody

Creo que significa: al primera vista, sin usar ningún instrumento o herramienta, o ser influyendo por ninguno

Podria decir: meter con los ojos.
