How do we attach photos to a post?

I see so many wonderful photos. How do I upload them

The photos have to be hosted somewhere on the web already. Photobucket.com is one free place to put them. Then you click on the little thing that looks like a picture frame at the top of the edit box when you're typing your answer and paste in the URL of the photo.

Or just google it and click the right button and then "Copy image URL" and then what Kevin said.
