The translator gave me two definitions for "fijar". To fix and to set. I added "lo" to get "fijarlo". Fix it. In order to say I will fix it, could I simply say." Me lo fijar",or" me fijarlo"?Do I need to add in" hago" or another conjugation of" hacer" somewhere? Thanks all in advance.

To fix as in to repair something that's broken ---> arreglar, reparar.

To fix as in to affix something to a surface ---> fijar

There are idiomatic expressions such as "Fijar una cita" ---> To make an appointment

I have never heard fijar for fix. I use reparar. Fijar means to "check something out" to "Fix your attention on something". Does it mean to actually fix something? Never heard it that way.

  • Fix it - Repáralo
  • Voy a repararlo. Lo repararé.
