That song they play on the radio, I think it's te pido perdón. I always was thinking "Love makes you strong" like "love makes one strong" (impersonal) but now I am thinking maybe it's hacerse like "love gets strong" but that can't be right, can it? Gracias.

Could well be:
Hacerse and llegar a ser = to become and are followed by a noun or adjective and indicate a change brought about by effort.
