Check the learn spanish videos but for now you would say, son las siete menos quince. Or son las seis y cuarenta y cinco. I hope this helps and welcome!! Also the flashcards are also a big help here as well.

son las seis y cuarento y cinco. there is a whole lesson in section 1 that teaches time. It's very helpful

Es las siete menos cuarto. O las seis, cuarenta y cinco. I'm sure one of the lessons here covers numbers and times. One of the administrators will refer you to which lesson. (I always check the back section of my dictionary)

I think you mean "Son las siete menos cuarto".. not "Es". - NickDan, Jan 22, 2011
