En México en el lenguaje coloquial, decimos "caseta de pago" al lugar donde se recolecta el derecho de peaje por transitar en las carreteras del país.

In México in the colloquial usage, we say "caseta de pago" referring to the place where road tolls are collected (to pay for the right of passage) on the national toll road system.

En Trinidad, no pagamos alguno peaje por el uso de las carreteras. Sin embargo, pagamos impuestos y se utiliza para mantener las carreteras.

In Trinidad, we do not pay any toll to use the roads. However, we pay taxes and it is used to maintain the roads.

The last time I went to Melbourne I forgot to pay the toll,now I am waiting for a fine. La última vez que fui a Melbourne me olvidé de pagar el peaje ,ahora estoy esperando una multa.

Aquí en California podemos pagar los peajes automáticamente con un transponder FasTrak.
Here in California we can pay tolls automatically with a FasTrak transponder.
