El texto es:

Mi amigo Felipe vive en Barcelona. Esta es su casa. Está en la calle de Buenos Aires, número treinta y cinco. Es una casa bastante grande, de dos plantas. Al entrar, se ve enseguida un amplio patio. A la izquierda de la casa hay una piscina, de diez metros de ancho y veinte de largo.

What is the use of se ve? Is it impersonal? Ir?

I would say....one sees

Upon entering one sees immediately a large patio.

I don´t know If I am correct, but I think it´s impersonal , not passive. I wana confirm. Anyone can tell me if I am wrong or right?
