Todos / todo el mundo
Todo el mundo al suelo - everyone get on the ground (this is a stickup) why the need to say "todo el mundo" and not just "todos"? Gracias.

"Todos" translates closer to "All of you" or "You all," whereas "Todo el mundo" translates closer to "Everybody."
It's an expression...it's like saying, absolutely everyone on the ground..
It would be todos, or todo el mundo, "everybody"
