Rastro = flea market?

Rastro = flea market?

Just watching a show, "es un rastro" = it's a flea market (I think) so it means "trace", "trail", and "flea market"? That's one thing that kills me, so many words have multiple meanings, like more than just a few meanings.

Yes, in Spain at least, it's a flea market. as you say, it has other meanings too but in context, it's where you can buy "bargains" or "junk" depending on your point of view.

There's usually one in Plaza Real every Sunday in Barcelona, or there used to be anyway.

In México it means ''mercado de pulgas'' which is what it spain is called ''rastro''. A place to buy and sell secondhand items, antiquities and other such.
