They have overlapping meanings. Rapidly means with great speed. Quickly can mean rapidly or with little delay.

Read Lorenzo's reply. The are synonyms when used to mean "speedily" but only quickly works when you mean "soon"/"right away".

Put another way, "quickly" = "de/con prisa" or "en seguida" while "rapidly" = "de/con prisa"

Fast is actually used more often than either quickly or rapidly, at least in the US.

They are synonyms, but quickly is commonly used when speaking and rapidly, which is slightly more formal, is used mostly in written English. (This isn't a rule, but merely a usage tendency.)
