Game: which word does not fit in?

Game: which word does not fit in?

Hello all,

I would like to propose a game to increase your Spanish vocabulary,

Instructions,

  1. Write 5 words, among these words you place a word which does not fit in with the others.
  2. The next person has to guess the odd one out and then write 5 new words.

Here is my example:

First player : Agua, leche, pan, café, cerveza

Next player : "pan" porque no es una bebida (because it's not a drink).
león, perro, pez, elefante, gato

Answer : ???

Have a go!

yay! can you figure out mine? - amykay, Jan 19, 2011
Still pondering. - Stadt, Jan 19, 2011
The only thing I have come up with so far is that papel is often treated as uncountable, and the others are not, however I suspect that is not the answer. - Stadt, Jan 19, 2011
you're right, papel is not the answer. Hint: think of where all of these obects sit... - amykay, Jan 19, 2011
Thanks for the hint, I hope I'm right. :o) - miguel79, Jan 19, 2011

León, tigre, girafa, mono, elefante

I think mono is the odd one out, it only has 2 legs..?

It could be elefante though, this is the only one that doesn't wear a fur coat!

My 5!

mariposa, araña, pulga, avispa, libélula

Let's move on with Stadt's words.

La jarra, la colina, la bañera, el estanque, el riachuelo
