How would one say, for example:

'There are lots of chores to be done, and Sunday is the day to do them.'

Im having real trouble translating this sentence...

'Hay muchas faenas de la casa y los domingos son los dias hacen'

Am i anywhere near the mark? surprised

Hay muchas tareas hogareñas que hacer y el domingo es el día para hacerlas.

I'm not fluent, but here's my efforts--

I would have used 'faenas domésticas'

I would have said, '... son días hacerlos.'

...los días para hacerlas, pesta - cogumela, Jan 17, 2011
You can't normally use an infinitive as an adjective like that. In any case, "días para hacerlo" - lazarus1907, Jan 17, 2011
