I've got a close-to-comprehensive list of 1181 verbs irregular in the present tense, from which 586 are verbs used with a certain frequency, and about 67 are essential.

You can usually find lists of the common irregular verbs of the present tense (indicative mood) if you check each of the 3 different conjugations separately (AR, ER, IR).
There are well in excess of 2000 Spanish verbs that have one form of irregularity or another
