Jen, in answer to your question:

Yes, I would love to be there leaving behind all the processed garbage we are forced to eat here. The weather there would be a welcome change as well.

Parece que en Costa Rica, las verduras también están ricas.

It seems that in Costa Rica, the vegetables are also delicious.

OK, it doesn't really work in English...does it in spanish?

Owner with receipt is talking to a customer: “Let me try to understand this. You want your money back, because the vegetables I sold you last month are no longer fresh?”
