La Palabra "Vale"?
Cuando hablo con mi amigos de España, dicen "Vale". Gente de América del Sur dicen "vale"?

Not that I remember, but that was a long time ago. It just means, "O K", or "good" as a slang word. It does have a real meaning, like No vale la pena = It's not worth the effort, and that's used everywhere.
From the things I have been told, vale is not used in South America much, mostly Spain. I was told the term "vale" is most closely compared to the term "right": sort of how the British would use it. ( As in the phrase "Right, you are!" ).
En México no se oye "vale", sino "OK"!
En Argentina (America del Sur) decimos "Dale" no "Vale"
"Vale" es como "OK"
