Hello,
I would say ¿Cuántos años llevas viviendo aquí?
Miguel
I have been living here amidst the jungles of Spanishdict for as long as I can remember, thank you. And you? How long have you been living here?
Hello, we encourage people to do their own try and ask if they have further doubts. This is not a free translation service.
You can write a whole simple sentence with the terms you need to translate (with proper spelling and punctuation), contextualize it and use the Translation button at the top of the page.
Also, if you double-click on a word you will get a definition from our Dictionary.
I agree w/ Miguel's answer. To add, I have also read & heard tener used in place of llevar in this sense, i.e. ¿Cuántos años tienes viviendo aquí?"
¿Cuánto tiempo vives aquí? How long have you been living here?
Hi Polyglot - Did you try the "Translator" above?
Give it a try - it is not always perfect but in this case you will find what you need.
The English sentence - not the Spanish one.
Look at all 3 translations provided.
By the way you can also translate Turkish to a lot of other languages there.
çok ?a?ol - Thanks a lot
Any decent grammar or textbook for non-Spanish speakers usually dedicates a whole chapter just to time expressions, because some of them are probably unique to the Spanish language.
Check any resource on how to use "llevar" for time expressions.
