When you refer to your girlfriend as, Mi 'Mimosa,' how would a Mexican girl be expected to react to it? Is the term Mimosa usually welcomed or is it a bit off-putting? Thanks in Advance

If you double click on the word you will go to the dictionary. It sounds flattering to me.

It sounds very loving to me, it has connotations of tenderness. I think it would work fine in Spain, me cielo is literally "my heaven".

Without thinking too hard about it I reckon it would translate into something like, "my tender darling, my heaven". There's sure to be a better translation than that as it comes over a bit too soppy in my version.
