Hi all this is just me experimenting with direct object pronouns. Please correct if necessary.

If a question ask for a person, the correct answer should provide this information. This is one of those cases where the pronoun "yo" cannot be omitted.
"Yo las compré" sounds a bit assertive, which is fine if you say it with a certain emphasis or in a challenging manner.
"Yo" is the simplest and more natural answer, but "Las compré yo" is also very common.
¿Quién compró las galletas?
Las compré.
i think the right way to answer is Las compré yo. (from Spain).
