The other day I asked why my friend had ran into the garage...after she started laughing! Oops! What have I said now.

¿por qué te corres en el geraje?

She said something about "menos" the "te" and it would be correct but why?

fixed a typo in your title and post - DR1960, Jan 14, 2011
Might get the same in English if you said " Why did you come in the garage" - ian-hill, Jan 14, 2011

Ah... Never say "te corres" (unless you're speaking on very intimate terms with that person). That means to climax. wink

You should have said "¿por qué corres?"

Hola! Ese significado es para España porque en Argentina eso no significa ninguna ezpresion intima. Corre: es ccaminar rapido en contexto. En cambio en Españo y otros paises significa tener un orgasmo Bye

"correr" is a perfectly normal word in Spain. The problem is with "correrse". - samdie, Jan 14, 2011
Right. "te corres" (correrse) vs. simply "corres". - Gekkosan, Jan 14, 2011
