Question regarding "pompees"

My g.f. tells me her "pompees" are sore. Are these above, or below the equator? Gracias.

Until I got to the pronoun "her", I thought you were talking about your grandfather. I realize that the additional effort that would have been required to type "girl friend" instead of "g.f." would have been considerable (and, perhaps, have required an extra thirty minutes for posting your question) but we have a number of (highly valued) Spanish speaking (or, better, non-native English speakers) for whom this sort of "chat-speak" is counterproductive.

"Pompis" (and not pompees) is a cute way of referring to that fleshy area below the waist of a human being. It is not at all a "bad" word in México. One may hear it at any level of conversation. Of course, in the academic world you would use the technical name.

The usual cure for this problem is to have a best friend, like yourself, kiss the sore area at noon on a Saturday on the city hall steps.
