Fan and fond
What is the difference between "fan" and "fond"?. Can you give me any examples?

Hola Nila, fan es un sustantivo.
I am a fan of the Real Madrid.
fond es un adjectivo.
I am very fond of you.
I am fond of cheese.
Esto sería lo mismo que me gusta.
fan (fanatic): person who admires somebody/something or enjoys watching or listening to somebody/something very much
-movie fans
- crowds of football fans
- a big fan of Madonna
- fan mail (= letters from fans to the person they admire)
fond:
- fond of somebody:
feeling affection for somebody, especially somebody you have known for a long time
Over the years, I have grown quite fond of her.
I've always been very fond of your mother.
- fond of (doing) something
finding something pleasant or enjoyable, especially something you have liked or enjoyed for a long time
fond of music/cooking
We had grown fond of the house and didn't want to leave.
- fond of (doing) something liking to do something which other people find annoying or unpleasant, and doing it often
Sheila's very fond of telling other people what to do.
He's rather too fond of the sound of his own voice (= he talks too much).
