Multi-Cultured?

Multi-Cultured?

How would I say that something is "multi-cultured" ?

In general, what is a good rule for attaching words together as we often do in English?

For example....

Blue-green

Muslim-influenced

modern-day

fenced-in

Yeah, I'm very interested to know how this would work in Spanish... Great question! - NickDan, Jan 12, 2011

How would I say that something is "multi-cultured" ? "Culturalmente diverso" is a common way to express that thought.

Spanish doesn't necessarily "attach" words as does English.

blue-green = verdiazul

Muslim-influenced = influído por islám

modern-day = actual / moderno

fenced-in = encercado

I hope this has helped.

blue-green = verdiazul

Interesting... this looks like a joining of "verde" and "azul" by replacing the 'e' with an 'i'...

Does this work: hombricerdo (pig-man)?

Spiderman (the comic book hero) is Hombre Araña. Of course, Superman is...well...Superman. - webdunce, Jan 13, 2011
