Why does flash card recall tell me I am wrong

Why does flash card recall tell me I am wrong

When on the "Greetings / Los saludos" flashcards and you come to the recall section it has 2 phrases that it keeps telling me i'm incorrect on they are "¿cómo está?/how are you?" and "¿qué tal?/what´s up?" now the only part im not putting in is the ¿ mark and i am thinking maybe its because of that but the accent bar at the bottom doesn't have this mark on in the flashcard and I'm on a English keyboard so don't have on the keyboard either, so if anyone could let me know if this is the reason it is saying I'm incorrect I would be greatfull

Thank you

Your answer has to match the flash card answer exactly. That includes the first question mark and any accents. I'll tell you what I've been told about these things, as long as you get the answer right don't worry about the points. There are ways you can get your keyboard to make the Spanish symbols. If you search for that thread you'll be able to find out how.

Yes, everything has to match exactly, even the ¿'s. Here's a good way to add that capability to your keyboard. It's free and easy. It's part of most operating systems.
