It is used in some countries of Central and South América.

It means "rumor", see Emilio de Ipola, "La Bemba", Siglo XXI, Buenos Aires, 2005.

Actually the word originally means mouth, or lips, as stated by Agora. Flapping one's lips generates rumor, so that's how bemba has come to be associated with rumor - as in "Raido Bemba" - The Grapevine. - Gekkosan, Nov 28, 2011

'Bemba' is not a word listed in the Spanish dictionary, so it could possibly be a nickname or a shortened name. What it means, I don't know.
