Bolso de trabajo

Hi all!

I have been looking at business websites for spanish businesses, and there's a section called 'bolso de trabajo'. Is it something to do with student progress and recording progress?

What is it? I have read this information but still not sure.

In this case, the message is addressed to companies interested in recruiting the best students. The school will select the best candidates according to job profiles required by a company or business. The company should send the requirements needed for the position offered. The school will return curriculums or a list of names of those with the appropiate qualifications.

Sorry for my bad english, I learning :D - Jonathan_Salgado, Jan 10, 2011
Hello Jonathan. One of the functions of the 'job center' or 'bolsa de trabajo' is 'job placement' or to help students be placed in a job. It's not a guarantee, nor or they assured a job. - Jack-OBrien, Jan 10, 2011
I hope that makes sense, I'm just trying to help you understand it from an English perspective :~) - Jack-OBrien, Jan 10, 2011
you´re right. your answer its more clear. - Jonathan_Salgado, Jan 10, 2011
I think I might have misunderstood you. Were you talking about an "unemployment office"? That would also be considered "un bolsa de trabajo". Sorry if I misunderstood! - Jack-OBrien, Jan 10, 2011

Bolsa de trabajo is a 'labor exchange' or 'job center'.

so they will put themselves on a sort of job list? Tell them the jobs they are looking for? - amyfreelance, Jan 10, 2011
In the paragraph you have quoted, AmyFreelance, it appears a training school will try to place its graduates in appropriate jobs related to their skills. - Moe, Jan 10, 2011
Yes Amy, that's exactly what most of these are. They generally function as a 'job bank' with the goal of placing people in the jobs they are looking for. Then there are the unscrupulous ones with a different goal.... - Jack-OBrien, Jan 10, 2011
