"Las comidas son las franceses"
For an exam I have to make a totally pluralised sentence out of two words, with "the appropriate article and a suitable verb", and I must make everything agree in gender/number.
Example: muchacha/guapo --> Las muchachas son guapas.
Not 100% sure about this one...
Comida/francés --> Las comidas son las franceses.
Not convinced of my answer. Does francés agree with gender? Also must I put in that second 'las'? I seem to keep having that mistake
Thanks! Hope you have a nice day.

As comidas are feminine it would be: francesas. (no need for the definite article as this is an adjective, not a noun)

no, the plural form of ´francés´ has male and female versions. the tricky part is that comidas does not have a plural male form (los comidos is a very different concept).
and no, you don´t have to use the article. just use the female form for the adjective ´francés´ as you did with guapo
I agree w/ the previous answers. Careful w/ the pronouns. Those Frenchwomen won't like to be food, I guess. ![]()
