"Con la Fuerza de mi Corazon" "With the Force of My Heart"

Lejos de todo cuanto amé Far from everything I loved

En tiempos oscuros vivo hoy sin ti In dark times alive today without you

Pero aún queda un suspiro de honor But there is still a sigh of honor

Como aliado de este gran amor As a partner of this great love

Hay un lugar mucho más allá del sol There is a place far beyond the sun

Donde mi reino acaba en tu corazón Where my reign ends in your heart

Donde los sueños se hacen realidad Where dreams come true

Y una leyenda nació grabada a fuego en mi piel And a legend was born burned into my skin

Con la fuerza de mi corazón With the strength of my heart

Y el coraje de un amor sin fin And the courage of an endless love

Me armaré un día de valor I put together a day's worth

Y volveré a conquistar lo que perdí And return to conquer what I lost

Con la fuerza de mi corazón With the strength of my heart

Lucharé hasta recuperar I will fight to regain

Cada instante que pasé sin ti Every moment that passes without you

En el destierro de un lejano adiós In exile from a distant goodbye

Cuando la noche llega sé When night comes it

Que esa luna que brilla para los A Moon that shines for both

Marca el destino que será será Will mark the destination

Y en tus labios siempre escrito está And on your lips always written this

Que hay un lugar mucho más allá del sol There is a place far beyond the sun

Donde mi reino acaba en tu corazón Where my reign ends in your heart

Donde los sueños se hacen realidad Where dreams come true

Y una leyenda nació grabada a fuego en mi piel And a legend was born burned into my skin

Con la fuerza de mi corazón With the strength of my heart

Y el coraje de un amor sin fin And the courage of an endless love

Me armaré un dia de valor I put together a day of value

Y volveré a conquistar lo que perdi And return to conquer what I lost

Con la fuerza de mi corazón With the strength of my heart

Lucharé hasta recuperar I will fight to regain

Cada instante que pasé sin ti Every moment happened without you

En el destierro de un lejano adiós In exile from a distant goodbye

Mil ilusiones rotas sin razón Thousand broken dreams for no reason

Son el legado de la envidia y el poder They are the legacy of envy and power

Pero la esperanza nunca muere porque sé But hope never dies because I know

que te llevo muy dentro de mí, en mí I take you deep inside me, my

"Con la fuerza de mi corazón With the strength of my heart

Y el coraje de un amor sin fin And the courage of an endless love

Me armaré un dia de valor I put together a day of value

Y volvere a conquistar lo que perdi And return to conquer what I lost

Con la fuerza de mi corazón With the strength of my heart

Lucharé Hasta recuperar Fight To recover

Cada instante que pasé sin ti Every moment that passes without you

En el destierro de un lejado adiós In exile for a lejado goodbye

Con la fuera de mi corazón With my heart out

Y el coraje de un amor sin fin and the courage of an endless love

Volveré a conquistar lo que perdi Return to conquer what I lost

It looks good for the most part.

Me armaré un día de valor/One day I will summon up the courage

Lucharé Hasta recuperar/ I will fight until I get back

Cada instante que pasé sin ti/ every moment that I spent without you.

In this case, I agree that coraje is courage and I think that it just takes context to determine whether the meaning is courage or anger.

Note that valor can also be courage and see "armarse de valor"

"Coraje" comes through French from the Latin root "cor", meaning literally "heart", and metaphorically, "bravery,"wrath", "pride", "zeal", and many other meanings. See "courage" "core", "cordial", "accord", "concord", "discord" and many other seemingly unrelated words with the same origin.

Tracing this word further, we can link it to "heart", "horn", "carrot" and many other words. You find for me the connection between a corrot and bravery, and I'll find the connection between anger or courage, OK? (and I'm cheating, because I know the answer to both)

Thanks Lazarus, but why anger as well. To me those are two separate words. - MarkLeeMorff, Jan 9, 2011
I appreciate the detail! - MarkLeeMorff, Jan 9, 2011
Also, anger = la ira, in the dictionary, but no reference to coraje. - MarkLeeMorff, Jan 9, 2011
