I believe these words are from a county music song.

Creo que estas palabras son de una canción de música folklória.

I understand the original request was to translate "You are the closest to heaven that I will ever be, my love".

This is a learning site and I am a novice to Spanish. This is not an easy phrase for me but I would like to give it a try. I hope an advanced member can correct me or offer a better solution.

First, I believe this should be in the familiar form. Second, I believe the verb "estar" would be correct, since the sentence regards position. Third, I do not know how to handle the "ever" condition in the latter part of the phrase.

Here's my best attempt.

Estás el más cercano al cielo que estaré, mi amor.
