Squashed, smashed, smooshed?

Squashed, smashed, smooshed?

I'm wondering what the Spanish equivalent would be for something or something being squashed (for example, smashed underneath something else like a falling anvil, a car, or a really, really large person).

In English we might say smashed, squashed, squished, smooshed, flattened, etc. Some of them aren't even recognized in dictionaries. The best I could find was "aplastado." Is this correct, or are there others that would also suffice?

Thanks for your assistance!
