Would you say it: 'No soy ni alta ni baja' ? (I am female) Can someone explain a little to me the structure of this sentence and why it is so? Many thanks

I am inclined to say that both "No soy ni alta ni baja" and "No soy alta ni baja" could be considered correct, because I have heard it this way, but I could be wrong. I do believe only one ni is needed though.

ni...ni...=neither..nor....

no es alto ni bajo -> he's neither tall nor short, he's not tall or short (either)

Therefore,

No soy alta ni baja.

This sentence fulfills Spanish's double negative usage.

Using no and ni...ni amounts to I am not neither tall nor short.
