Cuando se vive en la Antártida se necesita un trineo para el transporte, en lugar de un coche.

Mientras + infinitivo is not correct in Spanish. It should be: Mientras se anda en... But wait, because the translation while--> mientras here is not correct. - cogumela, Jan 8, 2011
