Deberías disculparte

This is just you should apologize and NOT to yourself right? Deberías disculpar with te makes no sense, and Debería disculparse is he should apologize, what about "to you".? Debería discuparse a tí? Gracias.

Edit: Deberías disculparte y permitirte sentirte mejor... that's all right? It's a lot of te's. wink

It is. "Deberías disculparte a ti mismo" sounds stupid.

Debería disculparse is he should apologize, what about "to you".? Debería discuparse a tí? Gracias.

That sounds like "He/she should apologize himself/herself to you", which sounds like a puzzle in either language.

Deberías disculparte y permitirte sentirte mejor... that's all right? It's a lot of te's. wink

It is not wrong, but I'd say "Deberías disculparte y sentirte mejor", assuming that you really want to say that.

I'm confused, so it DOEs mean to yourself? You don't say "a ti mismo". You would just say "Deberías disculpar y sentirte mejor" and if you said disculparte that would be to yourself? Gracias. - jeezzle, Jan 5, 2011
