**"Caer como un fardo."**
I heard this phrase the other day, and from the context it appeared to mean 'I went out like a light', (Caí como un fardo) in other words 'I fell asleep instantly and deeply'.
I thought about adding it to our phrasebook, but when I Google it, the resulting sentences always seem to have the context of 'falling down heavily' onto something like a bed or chair, not exactly the meaning I thought I'd understood.
Can anybody help please? ![]()

Hi sally, it indeed means to fall like a stone, something very heavy.
But in context it can mean fall asleep of course.
