When someone says to you have a good day tomorrow, for example, how would you say "You too" or "and you as well? Is it "gracias, y tu tambien"? Just want to make sure i have it right?

The title question must be capitalized, a question mark at the beginning too. - 002262dd, Jan 4, 2011

Living in México, in my daily encounters I usually say ''igualmente'' which is the most common form.

Yeah the same that the people have said just above me. Igualmente is quite common here in Espana. Very good.

Possibly

  • Gracias, y tú también.
  • Igual.
  • Igualmente.
  • Gracia, y usted también.

I think it works better without the "y"... Gracias, tú tambien / Gracias, usted también.... and the best is Igualmente - veroz, Jan 4, 2011
