Placing accents over vowels

It's me again, I have another not so important question. How do you put the you know ' on the letters like a' (Combine em).

I just don't understand that, how do you do it, what combination on the keyboard do you use. How do you add the line on top of the letter a etc. Like Como esta usted? Those letters, that I bolded and emphasized. If you could please answer this question, I'd very much appreciate it. -Thank you for your support.

The word you are looking for is accent, or to be more precise, written acute accent (áéíóú), because there are other accents in other languages, like the grave one (àèìòù). I have used computers all over the world, and I've never had problems typing in Spanish in any machine (except the iPod and some other stupid mobile phones). You go to the Control Panel, in Regional and Language options (or the equivalent in a Mac, which is even easier), and add a Spanish keyboard. Now you have a little EN (English) on the taskbar, and if you click on it, you can change it to ES (español) in a flash. Now you can type in Spanish, and there will be a key that you press before a vowel, which will give you the accent you require.

Good to see you old buddy! I know it's that simple but what about if you don't have the permission to access those options, do you know the keyboard combinations on the regular qwerty keyboard. I mean I understand, but I know there's a key combination. I tried finding it in google but couldn't find it, can you please help me with this, I'd very much appreciate it.
