If one wants to say " Narendra spoke to Maria about the students," which of the following two versions, if any, is better/correct?

"Narendra le habló a Maria sobre los alumnos."

"Narendra habló con Maria sobre los alumnos."

Gracias!

Both are right, it depends on the situation. "Le habló a" can mean that only Narendra was speaking, maybe as an speech; "Habló con" means that they have a talk together, and express opinions.

Has it occurred to you that maybe there is more than one "correct" or "better" version to express the same idea? The first one is correct, but I would use it personally. The most common ones are:

... a María de...

... con María de...

... con María sobre...
