It is "dos mil once". The other option, dos mil y once, is wrong. Feliz dos mil once para todos!!!!

"y" conects only tens with units.... just that. Two thousand and one in spanish is "dos mil uno".

The conector "y" is correctly used from "treinta y uno" to "noventa y nueve", the numbers between 20 & 29 are said> veintiuno, veintidos, veintitres, veinticuatro...etc

dos mil is two-thousand - dos mil once - two thousand and eleven. "y" is only needed if you're saying "two-thousand and one"
