Esl - English tutoring tips?
I am very excited about this!
I recently posted an ad online saying that I was offering help with English. I received an e-mail today from a women who would like to begin on Monday. Her English level pretty seems basic, but she isn't too comfortable talking.
She told me she will be moving to the US soon and that is why she needs the practice. She wants to mainly focus on speaking (but I have to throw some writing in the mix too). Do you guys have any ideas of where I should start with her?
Since she is my first "student", I am not charging. I want to get the feel for tutoring and be well prepared before I actually start to accept money.
She agreed to help me out with Spanish in return. :D

Use a good beginner text that emphasizes conversational English. It should cover basic aspects of everyday life; time, weather, clothing, etc. as well as her personal interests.
