Can you vote for yourself?

Maybe I'm too much of an engineer or scientist, but when I wondered this I just tried it. It's like that bit in 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' when Arthur Dent pushes the button that says, "Don't Push This Button". Or every time I see a sign that says, "Wet Paint".
Hola! Unfortunately, no you cannot, for reasons that should be obvious! ![]()
Well, let's think about that. If you opened a second account under another email address and different userid could you vote for yourself (even though technically it would not be voting for yourself, but your other userid)?
And replies like this, Sanlee, is why I never leave the Dunce Corner.
No. The point is that you have to be helpful enough or clever enough or creative enough or knowlegable enough to have your fellow SD members vote for you. Votes are a reward for informing, helping or, at the very least, amusing.
No. I did it accidentally once and it gives you a message that says," You can't vote for yourself".(That is how I started out in the Dunce Corner...)
No, but I can vote for you

Yeah, that is obvious that you can not vote yourself!
If you can vote yourself, you can reach more points as you can possible.
And you can vote other people, if you vote for someone, you can get 1 reputation. ![]()
Unfortunetly no!
