Hi! I have a Colombian friend that I meet through a "cousins" program - so we call each other "primo" and "prima"... But sometimes he calls me "primis" What does this mean?

Thank you!

primo, tio, cunado, etc.

We use all of those to call people even if they aren't related to us.

Tio for older people, primo for people of our age, an cunado is for people of our age

He was just saying "primo" but in a bit cute way, I live in Colombia and there are some friends who say in this way too, so I'm pretty sure about it =D
