"Pico de gallo".
A Mexican salad consisting primarily of ripe tomatoes, onions, cilantro and lemon juice. Good stuff.

Some people make a salsa with similiar ingredients and call it pico de gallo, and use it to spice up dishes. However, it is usually a salad as described, wich may or may not hace chilies in it. - Gekkosan, Dec 28, 2010
