Estoy haciendo una traducción y necesito ayuda para traducir en español un termino inglés;
¿ Alguien me puede decir como se traduce la palabra "oil man", que se refiere a los hombres de negocio que se han hecho rico gracias a los yacimientos de petróleo en América durante el 800?

It is usually used in the plural "oil men" and it does refer to the oil tycoons. The US oil men emerged in the early 1800's and continue to this day, with their money giving them considerable political influence.
