Yes, I think nametaken is right to take one's breath away means -- to be overwhelmed by the beauty and wonder of something

"To take one's breath away" in English is an idiom showing a moment of pure emotion. There have to be idioms in Spanish that equate or are similar to the idiom. - Beloreana, Jan 29, 2013

Just to let you know, the phrasebook translation is in the infinitive form. For your specific sentence, you need to do it like so:

You take my breath away ? Me quitas el aliento (literally: you take away me the breath)

But, other dictionaries recommend other forms for this. For instance, under this entry for breath, I see this recommendation:

Me quedas sin habla (Literally: You leave me speechless)

Also, I have seen this recommended:

Me quedas pasmodo (You leave me astonished).

If the person represented by "me" is a woman, then it would be:

Me quedas pasmoda.
