Worsen the condition

A doctor is speaking to his patient with arthritis and says:
"Inactivity will worsen the condition"
1) Inactividad emporará la affección.
2) Inactividad emporará el estado.
3) Inactividad emporara su cuadro clinico.
While taking a course for medical interpreting, I was told never to use the word condición for condition as it relates to medical issues.

I think affeción is what you're looking for for condition! And empeorar is the right verb...
