Basic Grammar: Se Levanten - Why plural and subjunctive?

Thank you for your time and attention.

I was listening to an audio CD from Fonolibro and I swear that after listening more than 10 times, here is how I heard it:

"La nueva sede estado unidense del Opus Dei es su centro de convenciones. Se levanten en numero dos cientos cuarenta y tres de Lexington Avenue."

Is it just me or I missed out on my Spanish grammar class? The narrator sounds very professional.

I thought that se levanten is referring to the building. Why is it that se levanten is plural and subjunctive?

I wonder if you might be hearing "se levanta en"...levanta and en would blend together to sound like one word. Mind you, I'm saying that *is* the explanation...only conjecturing (in a comment, to keep the question officially unanswered). - webdunce, Dec 25, 2010
I meant: I'm *not* saying that is... - webdunce, Dec 25, 2010
