Lazarus.

It's called Manual de la Conjugación del Verbo, published by Veron Editor and redacted by Caridal Oriol Serres. ISBN 84-7255-169-5. I have the third edition, printed in 1990, which contains some mistakes.

It lists 63 models of irregular verbs and the rest of the book simply lists the 12,290 verbs along with the number or the corresponding conjugation model.

It's pretty chévere.

Cheers, Alex

There are just enough to give you the possibility of saying anything that needs to be said.

As afowen said, over 12,000 including some you'll never hear or see in your entire life, which is about 10-15% of a large (non encyclopedic) dictionary. Notice that with just 10,000 word (not just verbs) you should be as fluen as many natives on average.
